Juliane Tübke is a German artist based in Berlin. In her artistic practice, she delves into how we perceive and value nature in urban settings. Tübke is currently exploring the sensory interaction between water, weather, and both human and non-human beings through various media. Her new project “Hilda” investigates the agency of water and its impact on the flora and fauna of the peatlands in Greifswald, northeastern Germany. It aims to shed light on the often overlooked inhabitants of moorlands and promote fresh relations with these habitats that are truly deserving of protection.
